Vocabulary sources and licensing
This app includes an embedded offline starter catalog and can download a fingerprint-pinned snapshot of the French vocabulary dataset published by sakanaVocab, validates it before use, admits crafted examples only after strict bilingual validation, and caches the complete result locally. Matching progress made in starter mode is migrated when the full catalog becomes available. Its metadata credits: Matthias Buchmeier French–English dictionary data (CC BY-SA 3.0 / GFDL), open-dict-data IPA dictionary (MIT), FrequencyWords, Wiktextract/Kaikki examples (CC BY-SA 4.0), and FLELex/CEFRLex CEFR ordering (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This study app preserves source attribution and is intended for personal, non-commercial learning.
