The Mission
The Mission

Part I begins before missionary organizations, global statistics, strategic maps, or modern debates about the unreached. Christian mission makes sense only within a theological story: the God revealed in Scripture creates, judges, calls, sends, saves, gathers, and promises a future in which people from the nations worship before him. The church’s missionary vocation is derivative. It participates in an initiative that precedes it.
That conviction does not answer every strategic question. It tells us what kind of question strategy is allowed to answer.
